Uiteindelijk dacht ik dat ik een idee had. De nieuwe embossingfolders van Stampin Up geven een mooi lijstje als je dat uit snijdt. 3 pogingen verder bedacht ik dat ik het eigenlijk wel wilde embossen zo dat het een kleurtje had. Dus een Tombow stift gepakt, en de folder ingekleurd. Dat ging geweldig, alleen nu zat het lijstje scheef op de kaart.
Zucht, nog een keer. Deze ging goed. En doordat het lijstje al groen was, kon ik ook beter zien waar ik moest snijden, dus eindelijk was dat gelukt.
Een ander vel papier geembossed met een Papermania embossingfolder Victorian Fleur. Die met Certaily Celeri bewerkt zodat het embossing duidelijker werd. Nu had ik al 2 kleuren groen.
Voor de bloem nog 1 kleur erbij gezocht. Wild Wasabi van Stampin Up. En daarmee een bloem gestempeld. Dezelfde bloem nog een keer gestempeld met Certainly Celeri. De kleur uit laten lopen met een kwast. Bloem uitgeponsed, en het hart uitgeknipt. Op elkaar was het hart niet afstekend genoeg dus met de tombow stift het randje nog even aangezet. en de bloemen met een brad aan elkaar en aan de kaart gezet.
Sentiment er bij gestempeld met de tombow stift om het geheel in 3 kleuren groen te houden.
Het geheel op een groene basis kaart geplakt. Certainly Celeri groen.
3 shades of Green was the challenge of LIM today. Pfff, what should I make?? I really had no idea. But I think that every week, so I did something else, and let myself get into the flow.
Finally I thought I had some kind of an idea. I have a new embossingfolder from Stampin Up, to make a frame, which is fun when you cut the center out. 3 trial and errors on the way, I thought it would be fun to colour the embossing folder, and emboss some colour onto the frame. So I took out a tombow marker, and coloured in the frame in the embossingfolder. It very well, only now the frame was out of line on the card.
Hmm, I will have to do that again. This time it went well. And because the frame was green already, I could see better were to cut, so that went well aswell.
I took out a new piece of cardstock and embossed that with a Papermania Victorian fleur embossingfolder. I highlighted the embossed part with Certainly Celeri from Stampin Up. Now I had 2 shades of green.
I made a flower in the thirth colour, Wild Wasabi, from Stampin Up. I stamped the same flower also in Certainly Celeri, and punched out the flower, and cut out the heart of the flower.
With a brush I used the stamped ink to colour in the flower and the heart. When I put them together I thought the heart wasn't to bright so I highlighted the edge of the heart with the tombow marker.
I attached the heart and flower together with a brad, and used the same brad to attach the flower to the card.
I stamped the sentiment with the Tombow Marker, to keep the shades of green to a total of 3.
I attached the whole to a green base card Certainly Celeri off course..
