Dag 83, Gesso resist

Nog 1 x dan, dit kaartje, met dezelfde techniek, heeft toch een andere uitstraling.

Ik heb het label uit de achtergrond gestansd met een nestabilitie, en daarna een mat onder gemaakt, in dezelfde kleur als de kaart zelf.

De bloem ook in een label gestansd, en in de opening geplakt, met het uitgestanste label er half onder.

And another one, this cart with the same technique has a totally different look.

I have cut out the label from the background with a Nestabilitie, and cut a mat under it with the same paper as the card itself.

I cut out the flower with the same nestabilitie, and put it into the background, the label a bit under it.

Dag 81 Gesso Resist 2

Voor de Kicostampgroep moest ik natuurlijk ook nog een kaartje maken. Deze had ik eigenlijk op een groter kaartje willen maken, maar ik denk dat het kaartje leuker is geworden doordat het op dit formaat moest voor de uitdaging.

De tekst vond ik heel erg passen bij de vintage/distresslook van de gesso resist. En ook bij de bloem die ik zowel voor het resist als voor het andere kaartje heb gebruikt.

Voor the challenge of the Kicostampgroup I had to make new cards. This is one of them. I intended to make it on a bigger format, but I think it is even better because I had to make it on this format.

The text says : the flower wither on the top of its bloom,. the only thing left is the memory of it beauty. I thought that was perfect with the vintage/distress look of the card, and also with the flower I used for both, the card, aswell as the resist technique.

Dag 72 Gesso resist

Voor de kicostampers was de uitdaging een kaart maken met Gesso Resist. Na enig proberen en een beetje pech had ik toch een kaartje voor elkaar vandaag. Toen ik opzoek ging naar het adres waar mijn kaartje heen moet, viel mijn oog op een onderdeel van de uitdaging dat ik ff vergeten was. De kaart moest 11 x 11 cm zijn.

Dus kan ik deze laten zien.

Gesso resist techniek achtergrond, er op een stukje crepe tape gekleurd met Rose Red en Cherry Cobbler.
De bloem is gemaakt door vierkantjes te rollen. Daarop zitten 2 bloemen, gestempeld met Cherry Cobbler en Rose Red. Afgewerkt met een brad, gemaakt met het papier van de bloem.

For the callenge by Kicostamps,I had to make a card with the Gesso Resist technique. It seems easy enough but I had some trouble, and finally today I managed to make a card.
When I went looking for the adres my card should go, I noticed I should have made a card in a different size.

So I have to make a new card for the challenge, but I also can show this card.

Gesso Resist technique as background. A piece of crepetape, coloured with Rose Red and Cherry Cobbler. The flower is made by rolling squares. On the flower are 2 flowers, stamped with Rose Red and Cherry Cobbler. I attached a brad I made with the same paper the flower itself is made of in the middle.
