Dag 203 Boofle

Bij het Do craft magazine, dat ik vandaag binnen kwam zat een Boofle stempel. Een Freebie. Het gebeurd zelden dat ik echt enthousiast ben van een Freebie, maar deze is geweldig. Dus ben ik er gelijk mee aan de slag gegaan.
Een melkpakje gesneden met de Big Shot Pro, van kraft cardstock. In de kleuren van Boofle stempelinkt gezocht, en daarmee 4 achtergrondjes gestempeld.
De twee knoopjes gewoon door elkaar gestempeld. Het stempeltje met kruisjes en hartje 1 keer helemaal gestempeld, en verder alleen het hartje steeds opnieuw geinkt.
Op het vierde kaartje heb ik rondom Boofle steeds een deel gestempeld, alsof hij om een hoekje krijgt. Daar binnen heb ik With Love gestempeld.
Boofle zelf heb ik op een stukje aquarelpapier gestempeld en met stempelinkt ingekleurd. Het moest een paar keer over, voor ik helemaal tevreden was, wat mijn dochter helemaaal niet erg vond, want die vindt Boofle helemaal geweldig (net als ik trouwens)
Een lintje op het doosje gemaakt met een knoopje. Deze komt uit een set Boofle knopen. En Boofle zelf uitgeknipt en met foamtape opgeknapt.
Nu hoef ik alleen nog een kleine Boofle te vinden om in het doosje te stoppen...

With the DoCraft magazine that came in today, was a Boofle Stamp. A freebie. It is not often that I am very enthousiastic about a freebie, but this one is great! So I made something with this set right away.
I cut a milkcarton with the Big Shot Pro, from Kraft cardstock, took stampink in colours of Boofle, and stamped 4 small backgrounds.
The two with buttons I stamped randomly across the papier. The stamp with xxx and a heart I stamped one time totally in black and red, and further more I only inked the heart.
For the fourth background I stamped parts of Boofle on the side of the card, like he was peeking round the corner. In the middle of the card I stamped' With Love'
Boofle himself I stamped on a piece of watercolourpaper, and coloured it with stamp ink. I had to do that a few times before I had the colours right, which my little girl didn't mind, she is totally in love with Boofle (I am too by the way)
I attached a piece of ribbon with a button to the box. The button is a Boofle button. I cut Boofle out of the paper and attached him to the box with foamtape.
Now I only have to find a small boofle to fit the box...

Dag 40, Boekje

Standaard is van 7Gypsies en al heel lang in mijn bezit. Dit was al langer het plan maar pas toen ik de Big Shot Pro had, en de stans voor dit boekje, was het moment daar om iets te maken.
Papier is printbaar canvas van de Action, bewerkt met Distress inkt. Daarna gewoon wat spelen. Afgestemd op de personen op de foto.











The photodisplay is 7Gypsies, and I have it for ages. I was planning on making something like this, before I even bought the display, but not untill I had the Big shot Pro and the die for this album, I was able to make it.
Paper is Printable Canvas from the Action, inked with Distress ink. And than I just played around. Special for the people on the picture.

Dag 31 Big Shot Pro

Vandaag was het eindelijk zover, de Big Shot Pro, die ik al ergens begin juli had besteld, kon worden opgehaald bij Scrapbookdepot. Ruurd heeft hem daar opgehaald omdat hij toch van Amsterdam naar huis kwam vandaag. Na het eten hebben we hem open gemaakt, en uitgebreid uitgeprobeerd. Wat een gaaf ding is het. MEGA groot, ik grapte wel dat het een grote cuttlebug was, maar het is een heeeel erg grote cuttlebug.

De machine werkt heel erg soepel, en de eerste resultaten smaken naar meer. Ik ga hier nog heeel erg veel plezier van hebben.
Vanavond heb ik alleen Big Shot Pro stansen geprobeerd, morgen eens kijken hoe het gaat met kleine sizzix stansen en met dunne stansen, zoals die van Quickutz.

Het eerste resultaat, een roos / The first result: a rose


Today was it finally the day, the Big Shot Pro, which I ordered in the beginning of July could be collected at Scrapbookdepot. Ruurd did this for me, because he was coming home from Amsterdam anyway.
We opened the very big box after diner and tested it thoroughly. This is such a great machine!!! I already said the big shot pro is a big cuttlebug, but it is more a very, very, very big cuttlebug.

The machine works smoothly. and the first results make me want more. I am gonna have lots of fun with this.
Tonight I only tested the big shot pro dies, tomorrow I wil test it with other Sizzix Dies, and with thinner dies, like the Quickutz dies.
