Dag 265 Boofle

Vanavond eindelijk eens tijd genomen om met mijn nieuwe Boofle stempels te spelen. Het stempelen van Boofle was nog vrij simpel, Boofle in gekleurd met mijn stempelstiften, en gestempeld. De contour stempel er boven op, mbv een Stamp-a-Magic (hoe ik zolang zonder de Stamp-a-magic heb gekund??? Ik gebruik hem nu eigenlijk dagelijks) Maar dan, hoe maak je zo een kaartje af?? Ik heb Boofle gemaskerd en de achtergrond gesponsd. Daarmee was ik er nog niet. Na even nadenken heb ik de kaart ook nog bewerkt met glimmermist. Een tekst op gestempeld, en nog steeds was ik niet tevreden, er miste nog iets. Bloemen geprobeerd maar dat was het niet. Uiteindelijk met Cherry Cobbler hartjes en bloemen kriskras op het kaartje gestempeld. En daarna op een basis kaart geplakt.

Tonight I finally took some time to play with my new Boofle stamps Stamping and colouring Boofle was easy enough. I colourd Boofle with markers, and stamped it. Then I stamped the countour over it, with the help of the Stamp-a-Magic (I wonder how I managed so long with out that tool. I use is almost every day now) But then, How to finish this card?? I masked Boofle and sponged the card. I removed the mask, but the card wasn't ready. I masked Boofle again, took out the Glimmermist gold, and sprayed that over the card. Let dry. Then I removed the mask, but is was still not right. I searched for a sentiment. But even when that was on the card, the card wasn't finished. So I masked Boofle again, and randomly stamped little hearts and flowers of the card. I stampd the card on a base card.

Dag 222 Boofle

Wat een leuk nummer in de titel vandaag. Al weer 222 dagen, moet nodig een nieuwe uitdaging gaan verzinnen, iemand een idee?

Het wordt hoog tijd dat ik wat tijd vrij maak voor mijn monster projecten, want die schieten niet erg op op het moment. Bovendien moet ik komende week 3 kaartjes maken voor challenges.
Maar vandaag heb ik met Boofle gespeeld. Ik heb een achtergrond gemaakt met puzzelstukjes. Ik heb een stempels van een puzzelstukje, en die heb ik aan elkaar gestempeld tot een puzzel.
De stukjes heb ik in regenboog kleuren ingekleurd. De hele puzzel toen uitgeknipt.

Boofle zelf heb ik 3x gestempeld op 3 kleuren papier. Ik heb boofle, zijn hoofd en zijn snuit uitgeknipt en op elkaar geplakt (paper piecing)
Boofle met foamtape op de kaart geplakt, en een sentiment er naast gestempeld. Dit is een tekst die ik gekocht heb omdat hij zo helemaal mijn jongste dochter beschrijft, maar ik vond hem ook goed bij Boofle passen.

What a fun number is in the title today. It has been 222 days I am doing this, I need to find myself a new challenge soon. Anybody an idea?

It is time I make some time to finish the two big projects I am making, because there is not much going on there at the moment. I also have to make 3 cards for challenges this week.
But today, I made a Boofle card. I made a background with jigsaw pieces. I do have this stamp with one piece, and I stamped that so that it made a jigsaw puzzle. I coloured the puzzle in rainbow colours. And cut out the puzzle.

Boofle himself I stamped 3 times. On 3 pieces of paper. I cut out his head, nose and boofle and put it together (paper piecing)
I attached Boofle to the card with foamtape. I stamped a sentiment on the card.
This one I bought because it describes my daughter just as she is, but I thought it worked well with Boofle aswell.It says 'Sweet, Frolic, piheaded, Sturdy

Dag 203 Boofle

Bij het Do craft magazine, dat ik vandaag binnen kwam zat een Boofle stempel. Een Freebie. Het gebeurd zelden dat ik echt enthousiast ben van een Freebie, maar deze is geweldig. Dus ben ik er gelijk mee aan de slag gegaan.
Een melkpakje gesneden met de Big Shot Pro, van kraft cardstock. In de kleuren van Boofle stempelinkt gezocht, en daarmee 4 achtergrondjes gestempeld.
De twee knoopjes gewoon door elkaar gestempeld. Het stempeltje met kruisjes en hartje 1 keer helemaal gestempeld, en verder alleen het hartje steeds opnieuw geinkt.
Op het vierde kaartje heb ik rondom Boofle steeds een deel gestempeld, alsof hij om een hoekje krijgt. Daar binnen heb ik With Love gestempeld.
Boofle zelf heb ik op een stukje aquarelpapier gestempeld en met stempelinkt ingekleurd. Het moest een paar keer over, voor ik helemaal tevreden was, wat mijn dochter helemaaal niet erg vond, want die vindt Boofle helemaal geweldig (net als ik trouwens)
Een lintje op het doosje gemaakt met een knoopje. Deze komt uit een set Boofle knopen. En Boofle zelf uitgeknipt en met foamtape opgeknapt.
Nu hoef ik alleen nog een kleine Boofle te vinden om in het doosje te stoppen...

With the DoCraft magazine that came in today, was a Boofle Stamp. A freebie. It is not often that I am very enthousiastic about a freebie, but this one is great! So I made something with this set right away.
I cut a milkcarton with the Big Shot Pro, from Kraft cardstock, took stampink in colours of Boofle, and stamped 4 small backgrounds.
The two with buttons I stamped randomly across the papier. The stamp with xxx and a heart I stamped one time totally in black and red, and further more I only inked the heart.
For the fourth background I stamped parts of Boofle on the side of the card, like he was peeking round the corner. In the middle of the card I stamped' With Love'
Boofle himself I stamped on a piece of watercolourpaper, and coloured it with stamp ink. I had to do that a few times before I had the colours right, which my little girl didn't mind, she is totally in love with Boofle (I am too by the way)
I attached a piece of ribbon with a button to the box. The button is a Boofle button. I cut Boofle out of the paper and attached him to the box with foamtape.
Now I only have to find a small boofle to fit the box...
