Dag 244 Kraft Glassine paper

Er zijn nog meer technieken uit te proberen met dit produkt. Vanavond heb ik een poging gedaan met alcoholinkt. Het moeilijke is dat het papier zelf erg donker is, dus moest ik even zoeken naar welke kleuren wel pakken, en wat je niet ziet.

De bloem heb ik gemaakt door een stukje Kraft Glassine Paper te bewerken met Alcoholinkt. Red Pepper, Silver en Snow Dat geeft net het beetje kleur dat ik hebben wilde.

Daarna heb ik bloemen gestansed met een Spellbinders rose Creation set. Vorig jaar op de beurs in Zeist gekocht. De bloemen gekreukeld, en met een brad aan elkaar bevestigd.

Op een restje Kraft Glassine Paper alcohol in groen tinten maar dat werd te licht, dat zag je niet goed. Dus opnieuw de snow genomen, en daar koper en groen bij, en dat werkte wel. Daar heb ik 2 blaadjes mee gestansed uit de zelfde Spellbinders set.

Voor de achtergrond heb ik een kaart steeds gedeeltelijk afgemaskerd en met 2 script stempels, in 2 kleuren VersaFine de kaart bestempeld.

Het geheel bij elkaar gevoegd. Ik heb nog lang nagedacht over een sentiment, maar dat voegde toch niet.Dus zo gelaten.

There are more techniques to try with the Kraft Glassine paper. Tonight I tried it out with Alcohol Ink. The problem with this produkt is that is quit dark, which makes it hard to add colour to it.

I made the flower by colouring a piece of Kraft GLassine Paper with alcohol ink. Red Pepper, Silver and Snow. That gave it the colour I wanted.

I diecut flowers with a Spellbinder Rose Creationset. I bought this set last year at the Art Specially fair. I crumbled the flowers, and put them together with a brad.

On a scarp of Kraft Glassine Paper I coloured with green Alcohol ink, but that didn't show because the paper is too dark on its own. So I took out the Snow again, and copper and coloured the paper with that, that did work. I diecut 2 leave with dies from the same set.

For the background I partly masked a card, and stamped with 2 script stamps, and in 2 colours Versamark.

I put everything together to make a card. I thought long and hard about a sentiment, but nothing looked good. Finally I left it like it is.

Dag 236 Collage

Deze techniek is een van mijn favorieten. Maskeren, en van alles over elkaar heen stempelen.
Het leukste is, dat je eigenlijk niet goed kan zien wat het resultaat is. Door al de maskers op de kaart, is het een verrassing hoe het er uiteindelijk uit komt te zien.

Deze kaart heb ik eerst bewerkt met alcohol inkt. Een beetje in zee tinten. Daarna heb ik de tekst gestempeld, en gemaskerd, en daarom heen allerlei dingen gestempeld. Uiteindelijk heb ik een tekst gestempeld, en alle maskers verwijderd.

Het kaartje op een basis kaart geplakt en nog een lijntje getrokken. Het grappige is dat de kaart echt recht op de basiskaart zit, maar het oogt scheeft. Ik denk dat het komt omdat de tekst scheef gestempeld is.

This is one of my favorite techniques. Masking, and making a collage. The best part is, removing all the masks. Because of the mask, you can not really see what you are making, and it is kind of a suprise when you remove the masks.

For this card I first used alcohol ink to make the background. I used sea colours. Than i stamped the sentiment, and masked it. I stamped all kind of sea and sailing related items and stamped around on the carrd. Masking as I went.
Finally I stamped the script, and removed all the masks.

I attached the card to a basecard, and draw a line around it. The strange thing is, that the card is really right on the card, but looks like it is offcenter. I think it is because the script is stamped like that.
