Dag 302 LIM 72 Something shiny

As every Saturday, I look at the Lim Challenge as soon as it is online. This weeks challenge is fun, and quite easy.
But a challenge, wouldn't be a challenge, when it goes easy, is it?
I instandly knew I wanted to use buttons, and diecut them from a sodacan, which I would colour with Alcohol inks. I even had a vague idea about how to finish the card.
But it was 10.30 PM before I even could think about making a card. And just when I desided not to make anything today, there was this line in my head. A line which I would make myself with my JustRite stamps.
It was bedtime, but whit a card in my head, I couldn't sleep anyway.
So I got my cuttlebug, and die-cut buttons. I tried something else first, with goldleave but that didn't turn out the way I wanted. I used a soda can, coloured it with alcohol ink,and cut some buttons.
I stamped the sentiment, stamped it with Versamark, and heat embossed it with glitter.
I arranged the buttons around it.
The sentiment says: 'Happiness is: Grandmothers buttonbox'
Thinking about the buttons, I remembered how I used to play with the buttons which my grandmother had in a box. I sorted them, made piles of them, and we played games with them.

This is terrific Marrigje and the sentiment is SO nostalgic.. I used to love to play with the buttons in my mother's button box when I was a child!
I didn't realise that this die would cut soda cans! The buttons look brilliant!
Thanks so much
