This blog has a slightly different layout. I have split it in parts, and put the pictures in between.
Laatst kreeg ik 2 blouses. Zeker 6 maten te groot, maar te mooi om weg te geven.
Ze hebben een paar weken door de kamer gezworven, maar toen wist ik het. Voor Cecilia haar verjaardag maak ik er een setje van.
The other day, I got 2 blouses. At least 6 size to big for me. But much to pretty to throw out.
They have been lying around in the living room for some time before I knew what I wanted to do with them. I've turned it into trousers and a dress for Cecilia's birthday.
De jurk moest een appel hebben. Cecilia is gek op appels. Het was haar eerste woord, en ze heeft maanden lang aan iedereen gevraagd om een appel te tekenen. Inmiddels tekent ze zelf ook appels.
Voor de appel applicatie heb ik een Sizzix stans gebruikt. Wat een geweldige stanzen zijn dat toch, dat ze ook bruikbaar zijn voor kleding.
The dress needed to have an apple application. Cecilia loves apples. It was her first word, and she asked everyone to draw her apples for months. She can draw them herself now as well.
I used an apple die from Sizzix for the application. I think Sizzid dies are the best there is, you can use them on fabrics as well, which is soo great.
Tenslotte nog de broek. Niet zo goed zichtbaar op de foto, het is een ingewikkeld broekje. En het staat haar geweldig. Cecilia is vooral weg van de zakken in de broek :o)
And than the trousers. You can not see it on the picture, but it was kind of a difficult pattern. It looks great on her.
Cecilia is very happy with the pockets :o)

Wat een schattig setje! Dat zal haar geweldig staan. (Maar volgens mij staat alles haar geweldig, lekker ding als ze is ;-))
Niet alles hoor, een jurkje met mouwen staat haar echt niet. Maar dit staat haar echt heel leuk. Moet alleen nog een shirtje bij.
Wat een leuk setje. En als je dan bedankt dat je het gemaakt hebt van 2 blouses is het nog leuker.
