Dag 233 Freebies

Elke maand koop ik de Craftstamper, en elke maand zit daar een freebie stempel bij. Ik bewaar ze allemaal zuinig, maar sommige komen nooit uit de verpakking.
De Freebie van vandaag wel. Die moest vandaag gebruikt worden.
Ik heb wel ff zitten prutsen wat ik er mee kon maken, want wat ik eerst bedacht had, was geen gezicht en al zeker geen kaart.

Uiteindelijk heb ik een stuk maskertape diagonaal over een kaart geplakt, en een helft van de kaart bestempeld met de Freebie van deze maand. Daarna een ander stuk maskertape over deze stempels geplakt, zodat het precies op de naad kwam, met een freebie van een eerdere maand de andere helft van de kaart bestempeld.

Daarna een lint over de naad geplakt, en een scallop cirkel uit een stukje cardstock in dezelfde kleur als het lint geponsd. Nog een bloem gestempeld in de roze (blushing bride van SU) En die uitgeponsd met een cirkel pons die precies in de scallop past. De binnencirkel heb ik met foamtape iets verhoogd opgeplakt.
En de kaart op een basiskaart geplakt.

Every month I buy the Craftstamper, and every month there is a freebie that goes with it. I always keep them carefully, but some of them have never seen ink.
Todays Freebie is different, it had to see ink immediatly.
I did however had a hard time to find something to make with it. The first thing I came up with, didn't look at all good, and was certainly not becoming a card.

Finally I covered the card with maskingtape, exactly over the diagonal. I stamped the half of the card with this months freebie. Then I took another piece of masking tape, and put it so on the card that is was exactly on the seam, and stamped the other half of the card with a freebie from a previous month.

Then I glued a piece of ribbon over the seam. I punched a big scallop circle from a piece of cardstock which has the same colour as the cardstock. I stamped another flower in pink (blushinf bride by SU) and punched it out with a circle punch which fits inside the scallop circle. I attached the innercircle with foamtape.

And attached the card on a basecard.
