Dag 237 Doily

De bedoeling was dat ik een kerstkaartje zou maken, maar het werd wat anders. Wel een beetje in kerstkleuren. Dat dan weer wel.

Een ruit gesneden uit een stukje cardstock. Daar doily's op gestempeld en geheatembossed met witte embossingpoeder. Daarna met
Distress stain Firebrick het cardstock gekleurd.
Door het embossing pakt de inkt daar niet, en dat is elke keer als ik het doe weer een verrassing.

Op een ander stuk cardstock heb ik een grote doily gestempeld met een Big and Juicy inktpad. En die achter het raam geplakt.
Het geheel op een groene basiskaart geplakt.

The idea was, that I would make a christmas card, but I came up with something completely different. In christmas colours, that must count for something.

I cut a window from a piece of cardstock. I stamped doilies on the frame and heat embossed them with white embossingpowder. Than I coloured the cardstock with Distress stain Firebrick.
I love the moment that you colour the paper, and the places where the embossingpowder is, stay white.

I stamped a big doily on an other piece of cardstock and attached that behind the window frame.
Then I attached the whole to a green basecard.
